According to the Chinese zodiac, 2014 welcomed the Year of the Horse - symbolic of energetic volatility and impulsiveness including taking on various new projects with success! So it’s no surprise in early 2014, Robert Gonnella, founding member and vocalist of Assassin left to form RAGING ROB with ex-Assassin drummer Frank Nellen, Warrant's Dirk Preylowski on lead guitar and former Human Bastard members, Maik Jansen on rhythm guitar and Rudi Görg on bass.

The glue binding this group is the fact that they are all 100%, old school, 80’s thrashers with the tenacity to match their intense musicianship.

RAGING ROB is derived from Raging Mob, Robert’s former band while living in China from 2005-2011 which found some success releasing a CD in 2008 and winning the 2010 Chinese Metal Battle for Wacken!

In addition to currently rehearsing a unique, live set that includes a myriad of Assassin and Raging Mob material, new songs are being composed with an old school feel to be released on CD next year.

Coming up in 2015, RAGING ROB is unstoppable and ready for live action and challenges all the headbanging, fists blazing mosh pits in the world.
